Got a free sample of this stuff with a previous purchase, fell it love with it, and immediately bought a full size tube. Whenever I get free samples with my purchases, I always share them with my mother, so I can get her opinion on the item too. Not much information is provided on the little samples (I assume, due to lack of room on the little packet), and, without any sort of explanation, gave my mom 2 packets of this face conditioning cream. Shortly thereafter, she was raving about what a great lotion it was, "it makes my skin look and feel so good!!". Then I had to break it to her... "it's not lotion Mom...", but she didn't care, she still loved it. :)
According to the US Etude House site, their Face Conditioning Cream "is a quick and easy makeup boosting cream that smoothly conditions skin with its light and soft texture for a makeup-ready complexion".... yeah, that description didn't really help me either. From my understanding, the cream is applied under your makeup, like a primer. I was unclear about how the word "light" was being used - so I contacted Etude House and asked:
"Dear Etude House Team,
Can you please tell me what the difference is between the face conditioning cream and the face conditioning cream light? Thank you so much!"
Etude's Reply:
"Thank you for your interest on our product. Face conditioning cream light makes you feel more lightly when you put on the item on your skin." ... yeah... still don't get it.
After much research this is what I found:
1.) Provides sebum control and makes your makeup last all day.
2.) Turns your face into a perfect palette, making your makeup/skin look even better.
3.) The Blue one is for regular/normal skin
4.) The Pink one is for oily/combination skin
5.) There are two sizes (not including the sample size): 75 g and a "Mini" that is 40 g6.) Apparently, based on my mother's reaction - you can wear it with or without makeup! :)
7.) I have sensitive skin, but have no problems with the "blue" one.
I am happy with my purchase and will definitely be buying this, or the pink one, again.
Have already recommended to friends and family members.
